Essentrics, Yoga, Yin and Barre Classes | Winter Session 2021
Join us for Essentrics class. Applicable for all ages and fitness levels. All weekly classes are 45-minute full-body standing workouts. Instructors often add extra floor or barre/chair stretching and toning at the end of the standing workout. Saturday classes are 60-minute standing, floor, and/or barre/chair.
The practice of yin yoga provides the perfect balance to your active (yang) life and fitness activities. Focusing on long-held floor poses combined with breath work and meditation, yin yoga goes beneath the superficial muscles to target the dense connective tissues of the body often in the hips, pelvis, and low back, which are difficult to open and can result in both limited flexibility and stagnant energy.
Enjoy Vinyasa yoga wherever you are! A beginners session, however, it stays true to the vinyasa principles of structuring the practice from simple to complex poses, moving towards a peak pose or sequence.
